group tours

Bring your group to HCFC and walk in the footsteps of the county's past together.  Groups of ten or more receive a discount when reserving at least four weeks in advance.

• Available for adult or children’s groups. Museum is open year-round. Village is open May 1 through August 30.

• Advance registration is required for group tours.

• Village tours are offered at 1:00 PM Wednesday through Friday to groups of 10 or less.

• If outside regular business hours, an after-hours fee may apply.

student field trips

Guided, interactive field trips based on Minnesota Social Studies Standards are available throughout the year.  Museum is available year-round, Village is available May 1 into October (weather permitting). Our staff and tour guides will engage students of all ages through hands-on experiences.

• Field Trips are available year-round for groups of 10-100 per visit.

• Large groups will be split into smaller groups of approximately 15-25.

• Advance registration of two weeks is required for field trips.

• Admission: FREE to schools with an educational membership or $3 per student; teachers and chaperones are free at a one adult to ten student ratio.​​​
